Hey, is the battery supposed to get really hot? I have it at the right setting and I'm not sure what's up, the directions are vague ,so I dont know.

if it gets hot immediatly unbplug it. its done charging for one thing, or its broken. Hot battery=fire or damage to battery, or both.

How hot did it get? IF you leave it on too long, then it's bad. Check the amperage that you are charging the battery at? What type of battery is it? That changes the level that the amperage should be at.
My friend once left it charging so long that it melted to the floor and ruined the battery. Anyways, just thought I would share a random horror story.

Well it depends on how hot it was. If its enough to scold your hands, then something isnt right. But if its just warm, well then that can be expected. Mine are always a little bit warm after fully charging.

It was HOT, it was hard to even pick up! and it did ruin my 50$ intellect battery! there's battery acid everywhere! is it the charger, or just the battery?(the ampage was right)

Actually, I would say it was your fault. Because you should have been watching it and checking back every once in a while. I would say every 15 min. on a charger without a timer, or more often if you want to be on the safe side.

I did check it like every 10 minutes and when it was hot i removed it. the instructions said that it shuts off when the battery is done anyway. and why did it only ruin the one, not the rest?(which also got hot and were removed)
