For me, it depends on how long the game is. If it is only a few hours and I am tired, then I will grab a couple pops. Otherwise I stick with water.
You will want water for long games.

I used to be in excellent shape. I am a swimmer and we swim 6 days a week for 3 hours each, and I swam an extra 5 hours each week on top of that. I did go to state.
Anyways, despite being in good shape, you still will need water. When I had pop I could tell that it effected my body, no matter how little it might have been.

Reid be in terrible shape, just a warning. Never really have been in good shape, only during Basketball season. That's the only sport I play.

Well I am glad to hear that Blake. I prefer not to drink pop personally if I can help it. Mostly only when I am hanging out with friends. Otherwise its only water for me, maybe gatorade every once in a while.

I prefer Gatorade because it actually has flavor. But when we don't have any I drink water.

Pop has flavor, don't deny that. I work at KFC, and we get free food and drinks. So it is hard not to help myself during break and after work. On a typical day I have atleast 4 mediums of pop. And I work about 5 or 6 days a week. That doesn't include what I have at home and at other people's house. I try to keep that to a minimum though.
I try not to get into that habit, but I think it's a little late for me. During swimming we can't drink pop, but now I won't be able to use that as an excuse not to have pop anymore (since I graduated).

Well its easier for me. Mostly cuz for as long as I can remember the only pop in my household has been sprite and 7up. Alot of people dont mind it, but after so many years, it has gotten very old. So I just stick to water, there isnt any taste to get sick of.
