I don't know if any of you have an xbox 360 but if you do maybe you can help me. We just bought Transformers the game and we put it in the xbox and it keeps reading it as a DVD so we can't play. And when we do get it to work right, it freezes in gameplay. We are at a loss for what to do. We are thinking of calling microsoft and getting a new one. Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Yeah, I've read up on it and apparently it's a common problem to which the solution is get a new one.

That is only for a certain red light problem, but we haven't even had ours for a year yet so we should be fine.

Could be either, I suppose but we don't know. I guess we could return the game and get a different one and try it, but if that doesn't work then it is the xbox.

Yes if it is the xbox, then we should all yell at microsoft and demand a new 360. ;D

Do other games work on it? If so, then it's the game. I would give that a try, just borrow a different game, if that's the only game you own.

well, it seems to be newer games such as crackdown and transformers that don't work on it. They also have tarrible luck with, well, everything.

I does most of the time, but on occasion it doesn't. We actually figured out a system of getting it to work. You can get about 45 min- an hour of playtime then it will freeze, then all you do is wait an hour until the xbox cools down. It's a pain in the ass, but it works.

It's fixed we sent it back and they repaired it, but most of you knew that already.
