I was curious as to what all of you thought on the Jing Gong series China made guns, or any other Chinese manufacturer like Echo 1, AGM, A&K, etc... What I really wanna get is the JG AUG, mostly because I am so curious about them, I like most everything about them. I am aware that the forward grip on JG's AUG is wobbly, but am willing to deal with it for the price, also its nice to have a metal gearbox AUG out there that is actually well made for the price besides the TM, which is too much for me curently. Plus compared to the BE AUG, JG blows them outa the water. ;D

Yes and it still blows. Its ok on semi, and hooked up to a large battery. I havent tried it with a good small type yet. Its construction isnt any good, the hicap it came with cant keep up with the rof, so semi is the only way to go. Also the selector switch is very mushy, it doesnt click, you actually need to look down at the switch to line it up. I dont like it at all, I have even seen some sites stop carrying it due to its suckiness. I got so jiped!

If I were to get a chinese brand, then I would get an echo1 gun, mainly because they are already the best chinese brand out there. I am not planning to get a chinese gun though, I would rather get a TM, just my personal opinion (not trying to start a TM argument though).
I have heard decent comments about JG, but I don't trust their reliability. Someone on our team says he is only going to buy AGM (I think that's the brand he said) from now on. He really likes them and says the reliablity and quality is good for the price.

I agree with what your saying. I see JG and Echo1 as equals almost, but if I had to choose between them, then I would go Echo1, plus they also have a 30 day warranty I am pretty sure. AGM makes mid range M14s dont they?

Are Echo 1's the really cheap ones that are about as good as tm's?

You could say that, but a TM will still outperform and outlast any of these Chinese companies, contrary to what alot of people say. But they are a great bang for your buck kinda gun. Some of the better ones are Echo1, Jing Gong, AGM, A&K is decent.

AGM does make M14's. I believe they are decent... Echo1's do shoot 300-330 fps stock, but that puts a lot more stress on the internals than what's good for them.

Yes but in that case I would see Echo1 as a whole lot more reliable than a JG, because from what I have seen JGs will tend to shoot anywhere from 350-370 fps. BTW does AGM also make the soc16?

I want to get the JG AUG, how I get the money is another story. Either the AUG, or I have been looking at the Soc16, or maybe just another M-series gun.

I always liked the AUG, but was told it had problems, so never got it.
