He means the AUG in general. I havent heard to many bad things about the TM AUG, except I may have overheard something regarding hicap issues, but could be wrong. What company were you considering getting the AUG from Reid?

You can't really ask about problems for AUG's in general, because certain brands (TM) make good guns and other brands (chinese brands) make a little lower quality guns. No offense though. The TM AUG is really nice and I haven't heard any problems about it either. I have seen it shoot and it is pretty good. The CA AUG shoots really good too, but my buddy's had some hop-up issues with it. The BE AUG is crap and shoots just like other lpegs, but I guess it is decent for lpegs. It gets decent range. Those are all of the different brands of AUG's I have shot. My brother owns 2 BE AUGS and I had a friend that owned both the CA and TM AUG, but sold the TM to another friend.

I wanna shoot the CA AUG, if I could choose I would go with CA over TM, mostly just due to personal preference. What style of hop-up does the AUG have? I have only seen M-series, G36, and AK hop-up units. Is it similar to those, or is it different? I think CA tends to have issues with hop-up units, cuz my CA M15A4 hop-up would just spin back to none if I shot on full auto because of the rof, but Ryan just tightened to screw on the main wheel and that solved the problem.

I'm not sure, I don't open guns unless they are broken, so have never opened it up. If you come to SFP, my buddy can answer all of your questions about it, since he has done it all multiple times now. But CA does have problems with their hop-up units. They tend to wear down too fast, and are soft. They tend to unwind too, but getting a different brands hop-up unit does the trick, I believe. It has nothing to do with the rof, it's just something that happens with CA's hop-up.
